Frequently Asked Questions

Are there refunds if guests leave due to rain?

No, but you can check with the ticket booth before you leave The Barnyard to see if they will give you a raincheck, allowing you to return on a future date.

Can  I leave and come back later in the day?

Yes, you do have in and out privileges ( except for fieldtrips) for the day/night just do not remove your wrist bands please.

What should I wear to the corn maze?
We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions (which could almost be anything in  Ohio). Thing to pack could include hats, sunscreen, and/or umbrellas. We also recommend that you wear sturdy footwear (e.g. running shoes) that is suitable for outdoor and potentially uneven surfaces. You are visiting a farm, so there is a possibility your clothes may get a little dirty...especially if your one of those people who like to play hard.

Is the site accessible for wheelchairs, motorized scooters and strollers?
Yes - most of the time. As a visit to the maze is an outdoor activity, the pathways may become muddy after long periods of heavy rainfall. Brief periods of rain usually do not affect the conditions of the maze. The best bet would be to check for updates on our facebook page before you are thinking of coming to find out about the conditions.

I have allergies. What do I need to know?
When you visit The Barnyard Park  you may come in contact with pollen, animals, and insects. Although there is nothing out of the ordinary that you couldn't come in to contact anywhere else, we do suggest you bring any allergy medications, etc. that you feel are necessary.

Are pets allowed on site?
We love pets, and we know many of you do too. However, at the request of our petting zoo animals, and your fellow visitors, we have become a pet free facility. Sorry no exceptions (except of course for service dogs).

How long should we plan on visiting The Barnyard Park?
The average length of stay is 2 hours. Most families and groups spend a whole afternoon or evening with us. There are people however who just visit to do the corn mazes. If this is your plan, give yourself 20/25 minutes to complete the corn mazes.

How big is the maze/ How long does it take you to go through the maze?

The main corn maze at The Barnyard Park is 4 acres.

We also have a smaller kiddie corn maze.

It all depends on how many wrong turns you take.  The average is around 20 minutes.  Some people have taken a lot longer,  some have finished it quicker.  We do have "corn cops "in the maze to help you find the exit.  There are also passports available as you enter the maze that can help you navigate the corn maze.

Will I get Lost?

We hope so!  It's designed to be that way.  While everyone does get lost to different degrees,  we have designed the maze to be an interactive activity that makes a trip inside the maze more than just a walk through the corn.  At the beginning of your visit to the corn maze you have the option of selecting a game that will guide you through the maze.

What age range is the corn maze appropriate for?
The great thing about the The Barnyard Park is that it's not age specific. We have something for everyone. Small children typically spend the majority of time on our Barnyard attractions than in the mazes, while adults typically spend more time in the mazes, and with game activities.

You bet we do. We have premium products as we know how important good food is to our visitor's experience. We have a variety of concession and novelty foods including chicken fingers, fries, all beef jumbo dogs, ice cream, popcorn, beverages, snacks and more.

How do I get there?
We are nestled on the North Central Ohio just outside of Mansfield and close to, Lexington and Bellville Ohio.  Visitors can enjoy a truly rural feel with rolling hills landscapes and farmland/woodland views. Click here for Directions.

What is the price of admission?
We pride ourselves on providing unbeatable value for our visitors. Click here for Pricing Details.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept CASH, CREDIT and  DEBIT.

A few attractions, the APPLE BLASTER  & GEM STONE MINING are extra fee attractions and only take cash.

Cash advances can be made at the ticket booth window.

If I buy my tickets online do I have to print it out?
